OUR APPROACH

Our work is dedicated to improving access to high-quality, people-centered NCD services with the goal of addressing three health financing functions—resource mobilization, pooling, and purchasing—while also considering elements related to the delivery of services and the governance of systems.

Turning action into sustainable impact

At the heart of FAN’s mission is a commitment to fostering sustainable financing models that enhance primary healthcare and advance universal health coverage. By strengthening these foundational elements, FAN lays the groundwork for a more robust response to NCDs.

As our activities are implemented, valuable evidence and insights will be generated, and best practices can be shared and scaled across regions. The result is a multiplier effect, enabling countries to leverage successes and expand their impact.

We're building a growing network of regional accelerators

To support our efforts, we are building a growing network of regional NCD Financing Accelerators, hosted by leading regional institutions, to meet the needs of LMICs in strengthening health financing systems for NCDs. These dynamic, innovative centers of excellence serve as responsive and demand-driven incubators of effective, sustainable, and people-centered solutions to key NCD financing challenges.
