How cross-country learning can drive sustainable NCD Financing solutions

Video

A new Devex video explores how peer-to-peer exchange and multistakeholder learning can drive solutions for financing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). The discussion centers on the Financing Accelerator Network for NCDs (FAN), an initiative of the Access Accelerated–World Bank technical partnership, developed in cooperation with Results for Development (R4D). FAN equips countries with the tools, networks, and expertise to move from ideas to action.

Jackson Otieno, FAN’s Technical Co-Lead and Senior Policy Analyst at AFIDEP, and Amanda Folsom, Managing Director and Collaborative Learning Practice Lead at R4D, discuss the rising burden of NCDs—particularly in low- and middle-income countries—where the need for sustainable financing is urgent. They examine the challenges to mobilizing resources and the role of FAN in bringing together diverse stakeholders to unlock new solutions.
