The Instituto de Efectividad Clínica y Sanitaria (IECS), in its role as FAN's regional NCD Financing Accelerator for Latin America and the Caribbean, is hosting its first Regional Dialogue on Needs and Priorities for Financing Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
The Financing Accelerator Network for NCDs (FAN) aims to support countries in strengthening NCD financing through a combination of evidence generation, cross-country exchange, and catalytic support for priority initiatives.
In this context, this two-day hybrid workshop will serve as a regional dialogue bringing together key stakeholders to:
- Present and validate findings from the regional analysis on NCD financing
- Share country experiences and challenges
- Identify priorities and opportunities for joint action in the region
- Explore mechanisms for engagement in FAN, including technical assistance and funding opportunities
The event will include plenary sessions and group discussions aimed at generating concrete inputs for the regional NCD financing agenda.
