As the global health community prepares for the 2025 UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs, this session at the 4th Global NCD Alliance Forum focused on advancing health financing for noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) in low- and middle-income countries. The discussion highlighted key gaps, opportunities, and actionable strategies to strengthen NCD financing in Africa and beyond.

Hosted by Access Accelerated in collaboration with the World Bank, Results for Development (R4D), and the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP), the session featured preliminary findings from the NCD Financing Landscape analysis for Sub-Saharan Africa, offering key insights into Africa’s NCD financing landscape and exploring scalable solutions to drive advocacy and action.
